Certified Systems, Verifiable Documents
Rehman Engineering Works has manufactured flow-control equipment in Lahore since 1948. The way we work is governed by a certified quality management system, checked by external auditors, and accepted by the public-sector, defence and industrial buyers who repeat-order from us.
This page is the register of what we hold: the standard, the issuing authority and what it covers. It is deliberately written so a procurement or pre-qualification officer can confirm our standing before asking for paperwork — and then ask for exactly the document they need.
Certificate scans, registration and licence numbers, audit reports and client-issued approvals are not published on this website. They are released directly to a named procurement, consultant or pre-qualification team on request, and you are free to verify any of them with the issuing authority. Anything you send us in return — drawings, BOQs, plant data — is handled under the same rule, with an NDA where required.

Material grades, pressure classes and test pressures are confirmed item by item at the quotation stage — nothing is assumed from a catalogue.
Inspection & Test Regime
The certified system on paper only matters if it is visible on the shop floor. This is what happens to every job before it leaves Lahore.
Material Verification
Chemistry and mechanical properties confirmed for each heat before machining. Mill or foundry test certificates are compiled per item.
Dimensional Inspection
Bodies, seats, stems and flanges checked against the approved drawing and the governing standard before assembly.
Hydrostatic Testing
Shell and seat tests carried out on the in-house test bench at the pressure required by the standard or the employer's ITP.
Coating & Protection
Surface preparation, primer and finish coats applied and recorded, including potable-water-safe systems where specified.
Witnessed Inspection
Client, consultant or third-party inspector invited for stage or final inspection where the contract requires it.
Delivery Data Pack
Test certificates, dimensional reports, coating records and guarantee compiled and handed over with the consignment.

How to Confirm Our Standing
Three routes, all of them auditable, none of them requiring us to publish a single client's document.
Email your organisation's name and the tender or enquiry reference. We send the certificates relevant to that scope, addressed to your procurement or pre-qualification committee.
Every certificate names its issuing body. You are free to confirm validity directly with the certification body or authority — we do not act as the only source of truth.
Audit the quality system where it operates: foundry, machine shop, assembly and the hydrostatic test bench at our Lahore works, with the QA records available for inspection.
Client references and performance certificates are released only with the relevant client's consent, and under a non-disclosure agreement where required.

Ask for the pre-qualification pack. We send the relevant certificates by email or in a sealed tender envelope, addressed to your organisation, and you are free to verify them directly with the issuing body. We can also arrange a works visit to inspect the quality system in operation.
Yes. Where your enquiry involves drawings, BOQs, plant data or specifications, we sign an NDA before any information changes hands, and we treat your documents on a need-to-know basis inside the firm.

Yes. We are enlisted with the Engineer-in-Chief Branch, hold a Pakistan Air Force provisional certificate, are approved with WASA Lahore and registered as a vendor with Heavy Mechanical Complex, Taxila.
Hydrostatic shell and seat testing, dimensional inspection and assembly checks are done in our own works at Lahore. Independent laboratory testing or third-party witnessed inspection is arranged when the specification calls for it.
